CHRISTIN SMITH

BOARD MEMBER

Christin Smith holds a Master’s degree from Florida State University’s Interior Architecture and Design Program (Spring 2016), and is currently working on her licensure. Born in Panama City, Florida, Christin's passions since childhood have been drawing, painting and illustrating. She found the history of art to be extremely fulfilling, which culminated in her obtaining a Bachelor’s in Art and Art History. It was this time at FSU when she realized she wanted to further her education and create art with intention. The realization was the beginning of understanding design. Show more...

Interior design has given Christin the opportunity to use her creativity to provide others with well thought out, holistic design. A fascination with the tiny home movement and sustainability kept her thinking about the evolution of living spaces and how our ever-growing population will adapt. Eventually, Christin would like pursue tiny home, sustainable designs as an answer for homelessness.

Tallahassee has been home for Christin since 2012. She enjoys many outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and a variety of sports. Her dogs Ginger, a feisty golden retriever, and Izzy, a loveable black lab, always join her and her husband for outdoor adventures. When Ginger and Izzy are not lying around, these two are always looking for any trouble they can turn up; such as chasing birds and squirrels or making new friends with other outdoor enthusiasts.
