From continuing education to securing LEED accreditations to tours of LEED projects and more, our volunteer teams have provided distinctive and varied programs to allow attendees to gain this prime education. Our past events are also strong in the area of working with the local school district and its schools to provide our members opportunities to volunteer for green-school initiatives and projects.

Advocacy
An important component of our Branch volunteers’ focus is working with local municipalities and schools to develop and foster educational and volunteer opportunities that will help guide our community – in a socially responsible manner -- toward embracing a healthy and prosperous environment for people to live, work, learn and play.

Our Branch is made up of Architects, Contractors, Engineers, Developers, Owners, Consultants, Building Scientists and other professionals interested in a sustainable future for the built environment. This diverse group has educated has educated local government officials and CEOs about sustainability, brought in high-profile speakers for important panel discussions, worked with children and educators to teach green principles, sponsored study sessions for prospective LEED APs and GAs, and teamed with local organizations to further green and sustainable initiatives to benefit local communities.
