This is a self-reporting series. You will receive a certificate of attendance yet you need to self-report your own continuing education credits to GBCI, etc.

LEED v4 was launched at Greenbuild in November 2013. Building commissioning is still an essential part of achieving optimal building performance and meeting LEED certification goals.

Participants will gain an overview of the new rating system from a commissioning agent's perspective.

Attendees will get an overview of commissioning for LEED v4. GBS experts will provide an outline of the overarching changes to the core LEED Version 4 products to give attendees a better understanding of how to remain nimble and communicate with team members and clients about what the changes really mean.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Explain the benefits of commissioning building systems.
  2. Understand the overarching themes in LEED v4.
  3. Identify the major changes to the commissioning credits in LEED v4.
  4. Analyze credit specific changes to the new rating system
