Paseo at Winter Park Village is a 277,000 SF, 240-unit luxury residence building located in Orlando. The project achieved Silver LEED certification, and is the recent recipient of the 2016 LEED NC Project of the Year - Multi-family Award by the USGBC Central Florida Region LEEDership and Green Awards Program. This program will discuss the sustainable design strategies implemented for the project, including Site, Water Use Reduction, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials, and Indoor Environmental Quality. The program will also discuss project goals, design challenges, innovation in design, and lessons learned during the LEED Design + Construction review process.


Iris Meeker, IIDA, LEED-AP ID+C

Iris Meeker is a LEED consultant with exp. Her areas of expertise include Sustainable Design and LEED services. Iris’ background is in commercial Interior Design, and upon returning to Florida in 2013, she joined exp, focusing her career on integrating holistic sustainable design solutions into the building process. Iris has a passion for sustainability and has worked to achieve LEED certification for a multitude of projects. She is a committed volunteer in her community, and has served in leadership roles for the USGBC chapters including various committee chairs positions and Board of Director.
