The panel will be moderated and there will be lots of time for Q&A and how you can help get out the vote on Amendment 4 before the vote on primary election on August 30th.

George Cavros, Florida Energy Policy Attorney, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy -- George joined SACE in April 2013. His focus is on advocating for state policies that sustainably ramp-up energy efficiency programs by Florida’s power companies, and that encourage meaningful renewable energy development in the state. He oversees SACE’s work in Florida and serves as the organization’s legal counsel in the state. George worked with SACE as a consultant / attorney for 6 years prior to joining the staff full time. George previously worked as Florida Representative for the National Environmental Trust on campaigns to defeat attempts to weaken landmark federal environmental laws and worked to promote federal policy to address the challenge of climate change. Prior to that, George clerked with the US EPA Stationary Air Enforcement Division. George is active in the south Florida community and serves on the Broward County Climate Change Task Force. He earned his JD with honors from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. He also enjoys his work as an adjunct professor of Energy Law.
Pete Wilking, A1A Solar

With an MBA and BS in Environmental Science, Pete founded A1A Solar in 2010 after entering the solar industry in 2006. With a strong background in engineering and finance, he saw the need for a highly qualified company to design and install solar power plants for home and businesses. “All the numbers work for a wise investment” Pete says, proving it time and time again for customers.
A US Navy Persian Gulf War veteran, Pete runs A1A Solar like a ship, with department heads and delegated responsibilities and authorities, with a strong focus on efficiencies and process improvement. “We ALL hold ourselves accountable for integrity and performance to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term value.”
Pete runs the ship, but he knows his team is what makes A1A exceptional. “I’ve been blessed to find and surround myself with some of the finest professionals anywhere who perform to levels that make me proud every day.”
Todd Sack is past Chairman of the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board, was a member of the Florida Energy Commission where he chaired the Legislature’s Climate Change Advisory Group, is a member of the JEA Clean Power Advisory Committee, and edits an environmental sustainability website for the Florida Medical Association. the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and World Medical Association: www.My GreenDoctor.org. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Physicians for Social Responsibility, which was recipient of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize. He is a Guest Lecturer at the University of North Florida School of Public Health, past President of the Duval County Medical Society, Past President of the We Care Jacksonville free clinics, and is currently President of the Duval County Medical Society Foundation.
He is a graduate of Yale College, was Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco, and is a gastroenterologist & hematologist with the Borland-Groover Clinic.
