Jeff Helms, PE, currently serves as a Vice President and Pensacola office leader for Atkins. Prior to his present role with the company, he served as Senior Program Director for Atkins’ general engineering consultant (GEC) assignment with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Three.
Jeff is the past Chair and current Board member of Florida’s Great Northwest, and serves on the Board of the Greater Pensacola Chamber. He is a former president of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, former Board member for Team Santa Rosa, the four-state Aerospace Alliance, Opportunity Florida, and the Governance Council for the Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) initiative.
Jeff is a fifth generation Floridian. He was born in Milton, Florida, and graduated from Milton High School. He received his civil engineering degree from the University of Florida.
Jeff is married to Teresa, a Florida State Seminole. They have quadruplets: Mira, Alexandra, Kendall and Zach. In his spare time, Jeff is the Chair for Boy Scout Troop 11 in Gulf Breeze.
