Becoming a Sustainable Business -- the Interface Story ... In Pensacola

  • October 26, 2017
  • 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • IHMC, 40 S. Alcaniz Street, Pensacola, FL 32502

USGBC Northern Gulf Coast is proud to join other best-in-class organizations and companies in promoting this upcoming program -- the inspiring story of Interface’s transformation from self-proclaimed “plunderer of the earth” to a leading voice in sustainable manufacturing.

Erin Meezan, Vice President of Sustainability for Interface, will present the evolution of Interface. In 1994, the modular carpetmaker shifted the vision and focus of its manufacturing to becoming a sustainable and ultimately restorative enterprise. This transformational shift changed not only Interface's processes and products, but also its people. The principal byproduct of this sustainability focus was a new way of doing business -- a changed culture that took hold from management teams to factory employees.

Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, this program is to be presented at NO CHARGE, and is open to the public.  To learn more and RSVP for this program, click here.  Seating is limited.
