LEED addresses all buildings, spaces and communities — regardless of where they are in their life cycle or location, there is a LEED for every building. This session, will provide project teams with the critical information they need in order to get started with the newest version of LEED including the first step of selecting a rating system. LEED v4 addresses the unique needs of over 21 different space and building types including new and existing data centers, warehouses and distribution centers and hospitality. Attendees will also gain a better understanding of project eligibility requirements and review developments and changes from LEED 2009 to LEED v4. This is a 200 level session. It is not a deep dive into v4 but rather an explanation of the tools (e.g., calculators, templates, reference guides, etc.), education, and support available to LEED project teams with both an industry perspective and with several case studies at the end of the session.
